BA (Hons) Media Production (Creative Content) is an interdisciplinary programme which focuses on contemporary practice in video, photography, sound, animation and a range of new digital media. Students can use these skills to enhance and develop specialist skills or to foster a more integrated practice. The programme is designed for the contemporary Media Production (Creative Content) practitioner emphasising the value of learning by practical investigation informed by critical understanding. Media Production (Creataive Content) embraces the changing needs of the subject and its students.
The course was delivered by HKU SPACE and the University of Western England (UWE). They employed diverse teaching modes, and these included lectures, seminars, small group discussions, screenings, practical workshops, student-led research and individual tutorials.
Students was assessed by a combination of individual essays, research exercises, media projects, presentations and live briefs as specified in individual modules.
Students who successfully completed the programme were awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Media Production (Creative Content) by the University of Western England.
